Zumzi Druid - Accepted for trial

    1. Have you read and understood the Guild Rules?
      Yes

    2. What is the name, class and preferred roles(s) of the character you are applying with?
Zumzi - Druid - Feral & Guardian (thanks to the now painless respecing, id could play the other specs too if ever needed)

    3. What are your favourite things to do in WoW?
At the moment and since i came back it's probably PvP coupled with making my characters look pretty thanks to the transmog system.
That said, I've always enjoyed tanking a great deal, on all classes so far, be it in raids or just dungeons, and have done that every expansion I played WoW since WotLK (skipped cata entirely and usually took breaks from WoW between clearing the current content to new expansion releases, what I hope won't happen again if not due to real life thanks to me finally getting along with PvP)

    4. How long have you been playing WoW?
I started in mid WotLK as a hunter, leveled her up to whatever the level req for DKs was and went over to that, being main tank for Naxx/Uld/Totc/ICC and the others on him.
In MoP i mained Warlock but couldnt stand just dpsing so i had my Druid/Warrior tanking alts i kept current with.
Since I came back ~3 months ago I've only really played PvP since it seemed too late to get into PvE at this point but got my DK/Warrior/Warlock/Druid up and through some lfr just to get my fix.

    5. What are your previous guilds and why did you leave them?
I only really remember two of them, my first ever was Karma on Nagrand-EU alliance side and that'll probably always be my "home" or what I remember of best time ever in WoW. I think we split up because the realm is really tiny in population and at some point we simply couldnt recruit anymore so people went different ways to other realms. (i think, me included, most went to Silvermoon)

The other being the guild i was in last in MoP which was “Rekindled Flame” on Draenor-EU horde side. I left because I wanted to quit WoW for good. I deleted all my gear, gave the guild all gold and mats I had, made sure I had the people I wanted to keep in contact with on battlenet and wished em fare well. Quitting didn't work evidently and I think there won't ever be such a dramatic event ever again with it being a real pain in the ass to have char undelete on a 30 day cd. (so far undeleted my DK and Druid, made a new Warlock and Warrior)

    1. What do you hope to find in our guild?
Again a place ingame I like to log on for, where I like the people and am happy to help. Just -my- guild, if that makes sense. A name I would be proud to represent, would know we are capable and can clear any content we want working as a team. I guess I'm looking more for a community than just a guild for this or that character.

    2. Is there anything else you would like to add?
I really like the idea of no voice chat being mandatory in raids. It usually adds not much help at the level I've played so far and is mostly noise anyway which I could happily replace 80% of the time with music instead. (got a mic tho and know how to use it when it's needed and benefits progress)
Also love the raid-times, that's exactly what i was looking for. 2 days per week, 4 hours each, that should be more than enough to make some good progress and grab some transmog without it ever becoming a second job again.

    Raider-only questions!

    1. Are you available to join for raids on
      Wednesdays 20:00 - 00:00 server time: Yes/No
      Yes

    Thursdays 20:00 - 00:00 server time: Yes/No
    Yes

    1. How often do you think you'll be able to show for our raids?
      ~100% (bar 1 or 2 times I've never missed a raid I think, not even the 3rd alt-run a week or so)

    2. What are the most important stats for your class and role?
For kitteh dps it seems to be Agility > Crit > Versatility > Mastery > Haste according to Icy Veins. That said, I have primarily played PvP on my druid since coming back and there the stat prio is more like agi>vers>crit>mastery=haste, nowadays, thanks to the crit reduction vs players. Which doesnt matter in the grand scheme anymore anyway thanks to pvp templates and stats being normalized, yay. (hence why my gear looks like it does atm, sorry for that, if I did any pve on it i would maintain it 100%)

    3. What are the most important stats for your class and role? We just want to make sure that you know the basics.
Let's assume you mean off-spec here? Again according to my go-to place (if not class specific, there used to be some nice feral/guardian forums i gotta find again) it seems to be Mastery > Haste > Versatility > Agility > Crit. I wouldnt ever stack dps/avoidance as a tank insanely one-sided tho, but always try to maintain a balance between "sweating my ass off trying to hold aggro all raid" vs "being 2-shot thanks to a bugged encounter", ive done both in the past tho, i just find most tanking guides and website too often tell you to go full on survivability while it's overkill for most peoples progress and not fun to need 24/7 tricks and redirection on you just to get by.

    4. Do you experience slowdowns, lag or disconnects while raiding?
Never have really. Got a stable connection and playing WoW never stressed my hardware to the point of being a hinderance in raids or anything else ingame. 🙂

    ps: ask me almost anything

  • Hey Zumzi,
    thanks for your application!

Looks like I jumbled a question there in my last update of the application form, sorry about that. You gave a nice answer anyway! We'd like to invite you for trial, please whisper Dwreject, Xantyr or me in-game. 😄
