1. Have you read and understood the Guild Rules?
2. What is the name, class and preferred roles(s) of the character you are applying with?
Spec: Fury (or Arms depending on sims) but able to go Protection if needed.
Spec: MM going into Legion, that can change depending on the sims (Survival is a no-no unless it's vastly better, I don't play hunter to be a melee-class).
3. What are your favourite things to do in WoW?
Progressing my character(s) and feeling as if I'm accomplishing something when I do an activity in-game. A less vague answer would be progression raiding; the feeling of working towards such a big goal with a group of people and finally pulling off a kill is a great feeling that I've missed. I also think I'm going to enjoy mythic+ dungeons in Legion, the sheer variety it can add to dungeons seems like it's going to be a great addition to the game and a great way for guild to make progress outside of raiding.
4. How long have you been playing WoW?
Late Vanilla on my old account, this account since late TBC. Started 'seriously' playing in WoTLK as a protection Paladin and I've been playing on and off (mainly during lulls of content or RL events) ever since on my Warrior and whatever alts have taken my fancy at the time.
5. What are your previous guilds and why did you leave them?
My most recent 'proper' guild was Mammon EU-Draenor, raided SoO with a little but of heroic (pre-mythic) as well as a little bit of Highmaul at the start of Draenor before I had to leave due to out-of-game issues that I needed to deal with, when I came back the guild was pretty much disbanded, the people I enjoyed playing with had left and it was mainly stragglers at that point.
6. What do you hope to find in our guild?
A friendly environment that can support my desire to progress relevant content without feeling pressured to give up my real life commitments, a place where I can find like minded people to do content together and generally have a fun time with it in a chill environment. But also a place where I can chill with people who are fun to be around and who I enjoy engaging with in-game.
7. Is there anything else you would like to add?
I'm fine being taken as a social if you don't think I'd fit in your raiding roster, I'm more than happy to prove myself in the Legion pre-raid grind.
I hope that if I'm accepted you find me to be a productive member of the guild!
8. Are you available to join for raids on
Wednesdays 20:00 - 00:00 server time: Yes
Thursdays 20:00 - 00:00 server time: Yes
Obviously this is subject to RL, I'm 99% sure that I will have no issues raiding at those times but I hope as a guild you understand there might be days when I can't raid whole hours or might have to skip a day.
9. How often do you think you'll be able to show for our raids?
On time, consistently.
10. What are the most important stats for your class and role? We just want to make sure that you know the basics.
Fury: Strength > Haste (18%) > Crit. (30%~) > Mastery
Haste for GCD and important CD-based abilities like bloodthirst and raging blow, critical strike for getting enraged and mastery for damage during enrage.
Arms: Strength > Haste > Mastery > Vers.
Haste for mortal strike CDs and mastery for maximising CS-windows.
Protection: Haste > Mastery > Vers.
Again, haste is for important rage-generating CDs and mastery is for critical blocks (and AP).
Marksman: Agility > Mastery > Haste
Mastery increases the damage of our core abilities, aimed shot and marked shot (and our range), haste increases focus regen and attack speed.
Beast Mastery: Agility > Mastery > Crit
Mastery increases pet damage (which I guess is a little important for this spec) and critical strike for resetting dire beast's CD.
11. Do you experience slowdowns, lag or disconnects while raiding?
Nope. Silky 60fps.
Thanks for taking time to read and sorry if there's any typos!
p.s Sorry if it's a little uncouth to apply on two possible characters at once in an application, I'm totally split on which one to take into Legion and I'll make my decision based on which one is accepted first.
